Large Aussie organisation looking for a Project Manager with experience managing multiple analytics projects. This role would be suitable for someone with an overall background in Project management rather than a background in analytics.
  
Job Duties:
  • Formulate project plans that can be delivered within the agreed time-line and budget
  • Build upon existing DBs

  • Keep track of schedules, deliverables and deadlines
  • Work with and coordinate multiple multi-disciplinary teams based in three countries
  • Manage the relationship with external consultant teams, both onshore and offshore
  • Help document existing systems, write requirements and functional specifications, and track bugs / feature requests
  • Contribute as needed to data cleaning, data quality review, and data extraction projects, in collaboration with the data delivery, engineering and IT teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Experience in enterprise level environments
  • Experience in a high technology or digital software development environment, if possible in a B2C context
  • Experience managing external vendors and consultants
  • Experience managing projects related to business intelligence, analytics, data quality, master data management, or big data highly desirable
  • Thorough understanding of Project Life Cycle management controls
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Agile project management
Technical skills:
  • Working knowledge of a project management and/or bug tracking tool (Jira)
  • Familiarity with diagramming software (Visio) or Entity-Relationship (ER) / UML modeling tools like ERwin or ER/Studio  
Familiarity with one or more of the following a big plus:
  • Data analysis, including statistics and database querying (SQL
  • Teradata
  • MicroStrategy
